frustrations

March 8, 2011

a million and one frustrations push me over the edge,

a cauldron full of emotions like pins in my head -

pushing me around, making me forget certain things like

the smile in your eyes, the colour of your love, and the smell of honest desire.

My thoughts are thinning and time takes its toll on me. Walking over the world we built and running through open fields of grass, sewers, highways, past lamposts, in dark alleyways, over, under, around everything – running towards that shining brilliance.

I feel like I’m stuck on the track practising hurdles again. Picking up the speed and going past the hurdles in a blur – going on, and going on, full steam ahead – didn’t I already pass the hurdles. Running out onto the course of life -

hurdles, careful, don’t fall down. Frustrations get to me and my mind slows – focus on the race; everything to keep me going, where can I find what will get me there.
